MLK Event to Feature ‘Hidden Figures’ Author Margot Lee Shetterly

Old Dominion will host author Margot Lee Shetterly for a lecture during the University's 33rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance on Jan. 10. Shetterly wrote the bestselling book "Hidden Figures" that inspired the big budget film about three black women mathematicians at NASA who helped put Americans on the moon.

Fans attending Thursday night's men's basketball game against William & Mary had the opportunity to get their picture taken with the Popeye's Bahamas Bowl trophy the Old Dominion football team won during its first ever bowl appearance and victory.
