To promote a sexual assault-free community, Old Dominion University and the Virginia Stage Company partnered recently to offer "Stand By Me," a festival-style event featuring live theatrical and musical performances. "Stand By Me" is ODU's artistic response to the "It's On Us," a sexual assault awareness initiative launched by the White House in 2014.
