U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry recognized Old Dominion University as an institution to emulate in a speech about climate change and national security that was delivered during a Nov. 10 visit to campus.

For seven years, members of Old Dominion's Army and Navy ROTC programs have met as opposing sides on Foreman Field, in the early morning hours of Veterans Day, to address a friendly dispute over which team is the best at flag football. This year, the Army ROTC team came out victorious with a 19-13 win.
