More than 1,000 fans of the ODU Monarchs men's basketball team made the trip to New York City's Madison Square Garden, the "most famous arena in the world," this week as Old Dominion battled Stanford in the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament. Despite spirited performances by players and fans, however, Old Dominion fell 67-60 to the Cardinals. The Monarchs finished the season with a record of 27-8.
