Across Campus - A Photo Essay
During Student Giveback Day, property left behind by students at the end of the spring semester is collected and donated to charity in order to reduce landfill waste and promote recycling. This year, the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters was the recipient of nearly 9,000 pounds of donated items. In these pictures ODU's manager of support services and recycling Harvey Logan and warehouse supervisor Bruce O'Leary, driving the fork lift, record weight readings and load boxes into a truck for transport.

A Picture is Worth...
ODU senior Reese Gelinas is pictured manually dragging his boat up the ramp at Whitehurst Beach on a recent afternoon. He took the boat out for a spin on the Elizabeth River, after purchasing a new motor, but high tide prevented him from using his truck to pull the boat ashore.
