Lifetime learner Hal Juren looks at a piece titled "Self Portrait" at the ODU Undergraduate Research Symposium Friday afternoon in the Learning Commons at Perry Library. Juren and his wife have audited more that 15 art history classes at the university. Agnieszka Whelan, lecturer of art history, welcomed the crowd and introduced the presenters for the symposium's New Research in Renaissance and Baroque Art session. The symposium, which spanned Feb. 7-8, featured the research, scholarship and artwork of approximately 80 undergraduate students. It included poster presentations, oral presentations and exhibits by students from a wide range of academic disciplines.
