Gordon Art Galleries Host Exhibition of David McQueen Sculptures
For David McQueen, invention stems from our need to understand the world and ourselves. His process expands the search for answers as they evolve into new ideas and new answers. He strives to show us our intellectual evolution, capacity to recognize errors, reconsider and reinvent. His works "show us the world explained, reconsidered and explained again."
An exhibition of McQueen's works, "Between Lagan1 and Derelict2: Sculpture by David McQueen," will be in the Changing Gallery at the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries from Jan. 18 to March 2. An opening reception is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17.
