Five-year-old Benjamin Goldberg, who is battling cancer, was a special guest conductor of the Monarch Marching Band at last Saturday's ODU football game.

John Lowney, the father of offensive tackle Jack Lowney, gives his son a final pat of encouragement following a ceremony honoring ODU's seniors prior to the Monarchs' final home football game of the season against Campbell University on Saturday. Twelve seniors in all were joined by members of their families for the recognition ceremony on Foreman Field. A business management major, Lowney is from Narberth, Pa.
