Second Annual Festival to Celebrate Monarch/LGBTQ Pride

ODU Out, the LGBTQ student alliance at Old Dominion, will host the second annual Pride Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26, a celebration of diversity and inclusivity among students, faculty and staff that acknowledges the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community on campus and throughout the greater Hampton Roads region.

Around the Grounds

A busy university calendar last week preceded ODU's Oct. 12-15 fall break. In addition to the many presentations and readings associated with the 36th annual Literary Festival, including a President's Lecture and "The Nevergiveups" photo exhibition and book launch, events ranged from a Provost's Conversations series discussion to a "wax hands" activity for students.
