Make sure your computer receives critical Microsoft patches

On Tuesday, January 14, Microsoft released software updates that address several critical vulnerabilities.

ITS will deploy these critical patches to ODU-managed computers in the next several days during the regularly scheduled campus patch cycle. Please follow any instructions you receive from your TSP to ensure that your computer is updated properly and completely.

If you are on a self-administered machine or use a personal Windows 10 computer (even at home), please run and install all available updates for your operating system as soon as possible. Microsoft has more information about running Windows updates on their website.

Keep your computer up-to-date

To stay up-to-date, select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.
